Why Raw

Living milk, living benefits.

Pasteurization kills pathogens — but also the enzymes, probiotics, and bioavailable nutrients that make milk worth drinking. We skip it so you get the real thing.

🧫

Probiotics Intact

Raw milk contains naturally occurring beneficial bacteria that support gut health and immune function — killed off by pasteurization in conventional milk.

Live Enzymes

Lactase, lipase, and phosphatase are preserved in raw milk, helping your body digest and absorb nutrients more fully.

🌾

Rich in Omega-3s

Grass-fed cows produce milk with a more favorable omega-3 to omega-6 ratio compared to grain-fed dairy operations.

💛

Fat-Soluble Vitamins

Full-fat, unhomogenized milk delivers vitamins A, D, E, and K2 in their natural form, as your body recognizes them.

🥛

Cream On Top

Unhomogenized milk separates naturally into a real cream line — pure, unbroken fat the way milk has always looked.

🌱

Nothing Added

One ingredient: grass-fed raw milk. No additives, no fortification, no processing aids — nothing but the milk itself.

Consumer Advisory: This product has not been pasteurized and may therefore contain harmful bacteria that can cause illness. Pregnant women, children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems are at the highest risk.

Not all milk proteins
are created equal.

Community Friend milk comes from A2A2 cows — meaning every drop contains only the original A2 beta-casein protein, with zero A1 protein. Here's why that matters.

🧬

The Original Protein

Historically, all cows produced only A2 beta-casein. The A1 protein came later through a genetic mutation in modern European dairy breeds. A2A2 cows carry only the original form.

🫁

Gentler on Digestion

When A1 protein is digested, it releases a peptide called BCM-7 that can slow gut transit and cause discomfort. A2A2 milk produces no BCM-7, making it easier to digest — especially for those sensitive to conventional milk.

🔬

Research-Backed

Clinical studies — including a 2019 randomized double-blind trial — found that people drinking A2 milk reported fewer gastrointestinal symptoms than those drinking standard A1/A2 milk. Some also showed improved cognitive markers.

❤️

Heart & Inflammation

Animal and early human studies suggest A2 milk is associated with lower intestinal inflammation markers compared to A1 milk. BCM-7 from A1 protein has also been linked to negative cardiovascular effects in some research.

A2A2 vs A2: Most "A2 milk" products on grocery shelves are blended — they reduce A1 but don't eliminate it. Our cows are tested to confirm both beta-casein genes are A2, meaning the milk is purely A2A2, with no A1 protein at all.
